- Investment Banking: Has led investment-related activities, including capital raise (equity and debt private placements) and M&A activities for buy-side and sell-side clients, and risk assessment for companies internationally
Jim founded Lionshead Advisors in 2010, focused on acting as a virtual Operating Partner for private equity sponsors and working with companies on improvement initiatives and liquidity event preparation. His larger-firm experience includes Oliver Wyman (formerly Mercer Management Consulting), Strategy& (formerly Booz & Co., now part of PwC), Ernst & Young, the Seabury Group, the Hackett Group (formerly Answerthink) and IBM Consulting Group.
He earned a B.S. in computer and informational science from Oklahoma State University, has held FINRA Series 7, 63, 24, 79 and 99, and FCA CF-10 and CF-30 credentials in the UK; he has served as a Securities Supervisory Principal and Compliance Officer*.

- He provided leadership across operations, sales, regional management, new market expansion, strategic planning, allocation of people and capital resources, fulfillment of technology solutions, development of methodologies, and guidance for managing and measuring the firms’ overall success.
- Financial services consulting firm grew its revenues and enterprise value over 300%, while employees and staff grew ~ 400%.
- Sales / Account Management: Bruce held leadership positions at global IT services companies where he managed large accounts in the transportation, software, and energy verticals.
- Held annual sales targets, delivery / efficiency targets, and P&L experience ranging from $40M - $150M/yr.
His experience includes executive roles at Riveron Consulting, Viscern (now The Pursuant Group), Hewlett Packard, EDS (now part of HP), Dell, and Ernst & Young.
Bruce is a native of Montana. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Washington State University and a master’s degree in management from the Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue University with an emphasis in Operations. Bruce currently serves as a member of the Washington State University Foundation Board of Trustees.
